Eligiblity

A U.S. citizen
Must provide copy of valid US passport.
Cannot be accompanied by a spouse unless he/she is individually eligible and
no dependent child is permitted to accompany the participant.
Aged 18 to 30 upon entry to Canada.
If you have ever been arrested or convicted of an offense/crime, you need to provide a Criminal Background Check that states that you have no convictions or you will not be eligible to be on this program.
A full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university either in the fall of 2009 or Spring of 2010.
You choose the date you wish to enter Canada within your eligibility period and book your own travel accordingly. If you submit full-time student status for Fall 2009 you must enter Canada by 15th August 2010. Spring 2010 student status will permit entry up to 15th February 2011.
If you want to repeat the Work in Canada program you must attend a U.S. college or university for one full academic year between programs.
