Important Information
The French Consulates in Canada require dealing directly with candidates rather than with any third party or intermediary organization like SWAP. We cannot assist you in securing the necessary documentation you must have to work in France. You must apply at a specific French Consulate-General based on your province of residence. See below:
Montreal: If you live in Quebec or the Atlantic Provinces consulfrance-montreal.org
Toronto: If you live in Ontario, Manitoba or Saskatchewan consulfrance-toronto.org
Vancouver: If you live in BC, Alberta, Yukon or the NWT consulfrance-vancouver.org
SWAP recommends that you begin the application procedure well in advance of your proposed departure date. SWAP, through our Paris-based partner organization, will assist you in France after arrival. SWAP apologizes for not being able to assist you directly in securing the necessary visa. Your Travel CUTS/Voyages Campus counsellor will guide you with your travel arrangements and SWAP will pre-book your orientation prior to your arrival in Paris.
