FAQ - New Zealand
I have had a NZ Working Holiday Visa before. Can I apply for SWAP?
Yes! Though the NZ Working Holiday Visa is usually only issued once in a lifetime, we have been generously allotted a number of special Working Holiday Visas through our partner organization IEP. These visas allow participants who have had a prior New Zealand Working Holiday visa, to get a second, as well as increase the age cut-off to 35. Available only through SWAP.

SWAP South Pacific Combo: How much support funds should I have? You should save as much as you can – but visa requirements state that you should have at least $4000 CAD in total to satisfy both the Australian and New Zealand Visa requirements. When submitting your visa applications, Australia requires you to sign that you have at least $4000, though does not require a bank letter; New Zealand requires you to submit a bank letter to prove that you have at least $3300 in the bank. Please note, that if you do not plan to book a departure from NZ into Australia, the New Zealand High Commission requires you to provide a bank letter for at least $5200 CAD.
