FAQ - SWAP Teach in Thailand

Does a College degree or TESOL Training qualify me for the SWAP Teach in Thailand program? Our partners, OED, who will be placing you, deal with Thai schools that have very specific standards for their foreign teachers. They stipulate that participants have at least a University BA, in order to be accepted on the program. TESOL training, though an asset, is not sufficient on it's own for acceptance onto the program.

Do I need to have my Diploma? Teaching experience is not mandatory, but is an asset. Anyone with a BA, regardless of subject, may apply. However, we are looking for participants who are mature in their commitments and responsibilities, are dedicated and enthusiastic.
